Export Data via USB, WiFi or Ethernet

There are several ways you can transfer your data from the PX-80 to your work station:

USB Transfer

  1. Plug a properly formatted flash drive or external hard drive into the USB port
  2. Select your scan(s) and press Export to save your data to the flash drive.
  3. Remove the flash drive and use it to transfer your data to your desktop workstation.

Wi-Fi Data Transfer

  1. Connect your laptop or desktop to your PX-80 Wifi Hotspot. (This works just like connecting your device to any other wifi network.)
  2. Open a browser, type http://172.17.0.1 into the address bar, and press Enter to see Capture.
  3. Navigate to the project or capture you are saving, click Export, and select the Download option.
  4. The files will download directly to your computer

Note: Wifi transfer can take a long time depending on the size of the file.

Ethernet Transfer

  1. On your laptop or desktop settings, turn Wi-Fi off.
  2. Connect Ethernet cord between PX-80 and your computer.*
  3. Open your Ethernet network settings on your computer and use the following settings:
    • Configure IP=Manual
    • IP Address: 10.10.10.42
    • Subnet Mask=255.255.255.0
  4. PX-80 Capture will be available to the iPad at 10.10.10.10
  5. Navigate to the project or capture you are saving, click Export, and select the Download option. The files will download directly to your computer.

It may take ~1 minute after the Ethernet is plugged into the PX-80 for it to begin broadcasting PX-80 Capture over Ethernet.

*If your computer does not have an Ethernet port, you may use an Ethernet adapter.
